This Privacy Policy describes how your personal data (“Personal Data”) is collected and processed through this website (the “Website”) and the form associated with the ERC-7943 initiative (the “Forms”).
1. Relevant Definitions
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
“Processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination or making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
“Data Controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, who is responsible of determining the purposes and means of the Processing of personal data.
“You” means any individual who accesses, uses, or interacts with the Website and the Forms.
The ERC-7943 initiative refers to a community-driven, non-commercial effort aimed at defining and promoting a technical standard on the Ethereum blockchain, provisionally titled “ERC-7943”. The initiative is supported by a working group composed of individuals and organizations from the blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset sectors, who voluntarily contribute to the development, adoption and refinement of the proposed standard.
The initiative operates independently, without any central governance or commercial exploitation, and its coordination is currently facilitated by Brickken Solutions, S.L., acting solely as a promoter and technical facilitator, without assuming any ownership or exclusive rights over the standard.
2. Who we are
2.1 Brickken Solutions, S.L. (“Brickken” or “We”), a company registered in Spain with corporate address at Llacuna 162 Street, office 302, 08018, Barcelona, Spain acts as Data Controller for the purpose of managing interactions with individuals and organizations interested in being part and contributing to the ERC-7943 initiative.
2.2 Brickken promotes and coordinates the development of ERC-7943 as an open, non-commercial standard. The purpose of this form is limited to community building, coordination, and technical updates related to the ERC-7943 standard.

3. What Personal Data do We collect from You?
3.1 We will collect the following categories of Personal Data when you fill out the Forms on the Website:
a. Identification and professional details: first name, last name, job title, company name, and country.
b. Contact details: email address and company website.
c. Voluntary information: high-level information regarding your potential implementation plans, technical considerations, or your interest in supporting the ERC-7943 initiative.
3.2 Please do not submit any personal data beyond what is expressly requested. We kindly ask you to refrain from providing:
a. Any sensitive personal data (such as information relating to health, ideology, union membership, religion, sexual orientation, or biometric data);
b. Any financial or identification information (such as ID/passport numbers, bank details, wallet addresses, or private keys);
c. Any personal data of third parties without their express authorization; and/or
d. Any such data submitted inadvertently will be disregarded and, where appropriate, deleted without further notice, in accordance with the principle of minimization set forth in Article 5.1(c) of the GDPR.
4. For what purposes do We process your Personal Data?
We process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
a. To coordinate your interest or participation in the ERC-7943 initiative;
b. To send technical updates, notes and community coordination information;
c. To organize meetings, collaborations or feedback rounds in connection with ERC-7943;
d. To maintain a record of contributors or potential contributors to the initiative.
e. Brickken will not use your data for commercial purposes, nor to promote its own services, nor will it contact you with unrelated information or marketing content.
5. Who has access to your data?
Your Personal Data will be accessed by:
a. Brickken, as the Data Controller, for the purposes strictly related to the management and coordination of the ERC-7943 initiative; and
b. Members of the ERC-7943 working group (“Backers”), only to the extent necessary for the coordination, collaboration and communication within the context of the initiative. These Backers are listed publicly on the Website and include entities that voluntarily support the ERC-7943 standard. While no formal data processing agreements or confidentiality contracts have been signed with these entities, Brickken exercises reasonable oversight to ensure that access is limited and aligned with the collaborative, non-commercial purposes of the initiative.
By submitting your Personal Data, You acknowledge and accept that:
a. Your Personal Data may be accessible to other supporting members of the initiative;
b. Such access is informal and based on shared interest in the technical development of ERC-7943;
c. Brickken cannot guarantee or assume liability for the actions of third parties outside its control, though it commits to limiting such access only to parties involved in the working group; and
d. We do not sell, rent, or use your Personal Data for any commercial purposes. Your data will not be shared outside the initiative.
6. What is the Legal Basis for the treatment of your Personal Data?
The processing of your Personal Data is based on your consent, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), which states “The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.” In this case, the purpose is strictly limited to:
a. Managing your expression of interest in the ERC-7943 initiative; and
b. Communicating relevant updates, technical information, or coordination related to the development and adoption of the ERC-7943 standard.
By voluntarily submitting the form, You provide a clear affirmative action that constitutes valid consent under the GDPR, as you are:
a. Informed: a link to this Privacy Policy is provided prior to submission;
b. Acting freely: participation in the initiative is entirely voluntary;
c. Providing specific data: only the necessary data is requested for coordination purposes;
d. Consenting unambiguously: submission of the form indicates your agreement with the terms outlined herein.
In line with Article 7 GDPR, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You may do so by contacting us at: dpo@brickken.com
Brickken does not rely on any other legal basis such as contract performance, legal obligation, or legitimate interest, since the nature of the data collection is non-commercial, collaborative, and participation-based.
7. What rights do You have over your Personal Data?
Brickken hereby informs You that GDPR and any other applicable Data Protection Regulation, which may be applicable to You, recognizes and guarantees that You are able to exercise and enforce the following rights:
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
a. Access your personal data;
b. Request rectification or deletion;
c. Object or restrict processing;
d. Withdraw your consent; and/or
e. Request data portability.
Please write to us at dpo@brickken.com to exercise your rights. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (in Spain, www.aepd.es).
Brickken strongly encourages You to contact us to update or correct your information if it changes or if the Personal Data We hold about You is inaccurate. If necessary, We will contact You if we need additional information in order to comply with your requests.
8. How do We protect your Personal Data?
We implement technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk to the Personal Data we process. These measures are aimed at ensuring the on-going integrity and confidentiality of the Personal Data. We evaluate these measures on a regular basis to ensure the security of the Processing. Furthermore, Brickken has implemented an Information Security Management System following the ISO:27001 guidelines and is currently pursuing the obtention of it.
9. For how long do We store your Personal Data?
We will your data for the duration of the ERC-7943 initiative or until you request deletion. In any case, your Personal Data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.We will keep your Personal Data for as long as We have a relationship with You.
Notwithstanding with the above, once our relationship with you has come to an end, We will retain your personal data for a period of time that enables us to:
a. Maintain business records for analysis and/or audit purposes;
b. Comply with record retention requirements under the law;
c. Defend or bring any existing or potential legal claims; and
d. Deal with any complaints regarding the services.
We will delete your personal data when it is no longer required for these purposes. If there is any information that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, We will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further Processing or use of the data.

We are committed to working with you to obtain a fair resolution of any complaint or concern about privacy. If, however, you believe that We have not been able to assist with your complaint or concern, you have the right to make a complaint to the relevant Data Protection Agency.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
You are entitled to request a copy of this Privacy Policy from us using the contact details set out above.
This Privacy Policy will be subject to changes, as deemed necessary from time to time.
If We change this Privacy Policy, We will notify you of the changes. Where changes to the Privacy Policy will have a fundamental impact on the nature of the Processing or otherwise have a substantial impact on you, We will give you sufficient advance notice so that you have the opportunity to exercise your rights (e.g. among other, to object to the Processing). Moreover, and to the extent that Brickken relies on consent for the performance of any of its Processing activities, We will make sure to request your consent where the aforementioned changes may have a substantial impact on the relevant Processing before these changes are made effective.
